FOUR THINGS I'VE BEEN LOVING LATELY

Monday, April 16, 2018

It's been awhile since I've done a good old "favorites" round up, so I thought I'd bring ya one today.

I've been using Tresemme's sea salt spray for years, and I really like it. I'm the kind of gal that will stick to certain products as a holy grail-- if it's not broken don't fix it-- but I'd seen Kristin's spray and wondered how it worked. I was in need of more spray, and target just happened to have kristin's in stock but not my old one, so I grabbed it. Of course I didn't bother to read the bottle until AFTER I had come home with it & found out it's a different kind of formula that's meant to be used after styling your hair, which is not the way I do things. I always put the spray in after washing my hair and then scrunch up and let it air dry so it's all ready for styling the next day.

I'll show this formula who's boss,' I thought, & so far it seems to be working out pretty well if I do say so myself. Dare I say my waves hold/ fall better than before? I don't want to jinx things, so we'll just leave it at I've been really liking this stuff. & It's got the signature scent of all the KS products, which is a flavor I can't quite put my finger on but makes ya feel happy.

Sheet Masks
I am waaaay late on the sheet mask train, I know. Sue me. I wasn't quite sure how they worked & just didn't want to bother. BUT on a whim I decided to try a couple out & I can honestly say it’s much simpler (& less messy) than cream masks.

Much like my hair, my nails are something I change up often. After wearing acrylics for awhile again, I made the switch over to my natural, to see if I could strengthen ‘ grow them out a bit. I actually forgot I had OPI’s strengthener in my collection, but was v happy to find it. I’ve been using it as a kind of base coat before my polish and so far, it's been helping! I've found a renewed love in doing my own nails. Who woulda thought?

I've been wearing this watch religiously lately and I am obsessed. The color of the face is so cute and the look of a wood watch is something I didn't know I'd like but I've ended up loving it.

*Though I received this product as part of a collaboration with Jord, this post is not sponsored and all opinions are my own.
